michelle and i broke up, but things are totally cool and we have no hard feelings. we just grew apart and realized that our lives are not to be spent in a relationship. we are still great friends. im actualy still hanging out with her todady...hahaha.

crap. i need to update this a lot more. i think i am going to start writing while we are driving and then just cut and pasting everything into LJ. its just too damn hard for me to keep up on EVERYTHING that happens on a day to day basis...
so tomorrow i will start that...but for now...

HOLY SHIT!!!! i am on the east coast...i have never been further east than boise Idaho, and that was just last year.
tour is amazing. and getting to see the entire US, and basically the world, is going to be an amazing adventure. im glad the kids that i am on tour with are awesome and are doing nothing but making this an awesomly good time...
it does make me miss Wait In Vain though. i see what Set Your Goals is doing and i KNOW that wait in vain has the potential and the drive to do this and more. we just need a damn drummer...god damn fucking drummers...fuck them all...
so tomorrow, get ready for a HUGE update...

okay, since set your goals tour had to be post-poned, and we went to SF early to "regroup" i had a few days downtime and nothing to do, so i hopped on a greyhound bus and scooted to lovely Oxnard California to visit my mommy. i havent seen her since the last time i was on tour (i think its becoming a regular thing lately) so i decided to call her the day before and see if it was cool if a came down for a few days. so now i am in oxnard. i hung out with my lovely friend Jessica this morning and had a breakfast very comparable to the excellent breakfast place in seattle i love so dearly. then we took a nap cause she was tired from the long night of boozing and i was tired from getting crappy greygound sleep all night. then i took her to work where i dropped her off and she let me take her car. so i went shopping for my favorite ladies (carrie and michelle). and got a few goodies...
SYG UPDATE...
well, our trailer is still missing/stolen. same with our merch. some dude said he found it and myspace messaged us but is now being shady and not really contacting us so we think he might be bogus. and then earlier today mikey called me to let me know that we are going to need a new Transmission for the van (which we just purchased about a month and a half ago). fucking lame!!!! we are trying to get ahold of the dude that we bought it from but he said that the warranty was only for a month so we are kinda screwed as far as that is concerned. so not only do we have to replace out trailer, and our merch (ALL OF IT!!!). we now have to pay 2,500 dollars for a new god damned transmission. talking about the rock n roll lifestyle. thank god for parents (my dad has since loaned SYG 5,000 dollars to help us out a whole hell of a lot).
again, if anyone can help us out by either looking out for a white trailer in the seattle area with california liscense plates or looking out for our merch or even donating 5 dollars to our paypal account (mattwilsonrules@gmail.com)
i miss carrie a lot.
and i miss michelle a lot too.
my two favorite ladies are both in different countries and very far away...sad...
someone cuddle me...im lonely...

okay, so the trailer was stolen. that shit is totally fucking lame!
so we drove all the way down from seattle to san fransisco last night. we left at 1130 and got done driving at 1230. long drive, PACKED van from the lack of space cause we have no trailer...lame x 10,000.
so i am stuck in san fransisco right now. but i deicided since i havent seen my mommy since august i am going to take the time to take a greyhound down there and visit her for two days. she is stoked, and so am i.
this will be the start of me updating my LJ for tour and everything so all my seattle friends can keep tabs on me and make sur ei am stull alive...hahaha
i already miss home and espically miss michelle...
i have missed Carrie since the day she left, and i feel bad that our friend scotty is being a total prick to her. i wish i could come over there and punch him in the balls and tell him to grow the fuck up...

+++REPOST!!! HELP US!!!+++
this morning we awoke to discover our trailer was stolen during the night. luckily we'd stashed all our equipment inside of the studio beforehand, but all of our merch and our means of traveling (the trailer itself) is gone. we now have no way of transporting our equipment and no means of making money on tour, therefore as of right now we can't tour.
hopefully one of us will be able to take out a personal loan or something and buy a new trailer and order more merch or something because as of right now that's the only way we're going to be able to tour.

today it hit me...
Carrie is gone.
for a very long time.
it made me very sad...
i love that girl so much and know what amazing things she is capable of. im so excited that i have her in my life and that through the good times and the bad she is still here for me. i was not always the nicest, or always available, but in the long run it alll works out.
carrie, i love you, i know you will start having amazing adventures in New Zeland. and i hope you do what your heart tells you to in life...
thank god i will be with good people for a long time in a small van, otherwise i might not be able to make it through her being gone so easily...

now that i have a laptop i am really going to try harder to update my live journal. so that everytime i update it it isnt a fucking masters thesis.
this is whats going on lately...
Wait in vain is waiting (in vain, hahaha) for a drummer so we can fucking show hardcore whats up and murder kids across the world...
while wait in vain on on hiatus Timm will be touring the The Warriors on guitar for at least the next 6 months cause Danny is in school and cant tour as much as they have been the last 2 years.
Roger is going on tour with Sinking ships, but only for like 2 months. he leaves in like a week and a half...im going to miss him even though i dont see him s much as i would want to...
i will be touring with Set Your Goals (myspace.com/setyourgoals) for the next 4-6 months cause there guitar player Manuel quit to concentrate on his other band First Blood that just got signed to Trustkill. good for me cause i really want to get out on the road and see the world for what it is...we are touring the US from March 12th until april 31st. then ay 12th till may 31st in canada and the northeast. then we are back for a week and we leave for EUROPE!!!! for two and a half weeks. then we get back and have a few weeks down time, then the new Full Length cd will be realeased through Eulogy Records the last week of July and Eulogy wants us to go out about a week before the cd hits in support of it....and im guessing most of the summer we will be living in a 15 passenger van named Ol' Nessy.

and of course just over a month ago i started dating the most amazing girl i have met in a very long time. and now i leave forever. thank god she is so amazing and understands what i want to do in life and she is 100% supportive of my decision even though she is going to miss me terribly and i will miss her too. we will have time together inbetween tours. it will just be a real test of our relationship fromt he get go.
i guess thats one way to find out if its going to work out or now...DAMN...
so, espically on the road, i will be updating this A LOT, cause i will have my laptop with me and will be updating it with the wacky antics of whats going on on the road.

tour, tour, tour...
i love being on tour. i miss my friends a lot, but i know tey will be there when i get back.
all the bands we are on tour with are amazing. the nicest dudes ever. i love them already.
we played in Tijuana, MX yesterday (the 31st) and the show was sketchy but fun, we didnt get fucked with by border patrol, but Set Your Goals got there van broken into, caught him in the act, called the police, and the police conned them out of 500 dollars so they didnt arrest them. so they got it, in the ass, with no lube.
tonight we played in South Gate (right next to compton). but the show was amazing!!! the venue reminded me of a slightly bigger version of the paadox. too bad the owner was a douche bag. whatever...
tomorrow we play in lancaster. then corona (which is going to be the fucking gnarliest show of tour).
i miss my friends. but ill be back soon enough. and back to working.
i cant wait until i am on tour 10 months out of the year, its going to be amazing...

so we re-recorded the demo this weekend. and just the rough mix sounds 1,000 times better than our last demo could ever sound! once the songs are mixed and semi-mastered we will have them up on myspace.com.
pretty soon my house is going to be empty cause all of my roommates are rockstars and are going to be on tour. so i would love for everyone to come hang out with me and watch tv or play video games or anything. i was thinking about having a rootbeer kegger sometime soon. everyone who is in town or close is more than welcome to come, its going to be good times...
its fucking 4:20am. i will start work at 5am. i both hate and love this shift (cause an 8 hour day gets me off at 130, when most people are just finishing there lunch brakes, so i have a lot of day left to get shit done or just catch up on whatever lost sleep i had from the night before).
i am amazed that i have upsated my LJ twice in more than a month.
lets see if the trend continues...

a) we have a half page ad in the new AMP magazine which is AMAZING!
b) we are re-recording our demo this weekend so it sounds GOOD and people actually want to listen to these amazing songs we have written!!!
c) tour this late august/early september with TURMOIL, THE WARRIORS, with or without you, and set your goals (FUCKING AMAZING TOUR FOR US!). I AM GOING TO KILL EVERYONE DURING EACH AND EVERY TURMOIL SET!!!!

We're looking for a permanent 2nd guitarist. Someone with equipment, dedication to the band, the edge, and someone willing to have fun.
What we are looking for.
1. Someone who is able to learn 10 songs by August 26th.
2. Someone who is able to tour from August 26th - September 11th
The sound is similar to Trials "Are These Our Lives?". If you can play that record, you can play ours.
We're having a hard time saying yes to shows and tours that we're being offered since we don't have a permanent 2nd guitarist.
